Why Bajiaffi was built and where we're headed
It was 2020. Online betting platforms were everywhere in Bangladesh, but most were foreign, English-only, and offered no support for local payment methods. A regular Bangladeshi cricket fan who just wanted to place a bet on the BPL or IPL kept running into the same walls — no Bengali support, no bKash payments, no trustworthy Bengali interface.
Bajiaffi was created to fill that gap. Our founding team conducted in-depth research into Bangladesh's betting market and arrived at a simple truth — Bangladeshi users need to be served in Bangla, through Bangladeshi payment methods. Technology alone isn't enough; what's needed is a genuine connection with people.
10,000 registrations in the first month was a huge boost for us. People could see this was something different — Bengali support, easy bKash payments, fast payouts when you win. That trust became our most valuable asset.
In 2021, we launched the Live Casino section through partnerships with Evolution and Ezugi. For the first time, users could play Teen Patti and Baccarat in HD quality in a Bengali-language environment. Users told us it was every bit as exciting as a real casino.
The Android app launched in 2022 and hit two hundred thousand downloads in its first year. Deep-link integration with bKash and Nagad made payments even smoother. Bajiaffi is now a familiar icon on people's phones.
In 2023, the games library surpassed 500 titles. After Aviator and JetX joined the Crash Games section, they quickly became hugely popular across Bangladesh. Virtual Sports launched for those who can't wait around for a live match.
In 2026, we crossed the one million total downloads milestone. The iOS PWA launched for iPhone users. Today, more than 200 people work at Bajiaffi across every department, all focused on delivering the best possible experience for Bangladesh.
